Na young Lee is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation. Her practice explores the visualization of memory and its vitality, focusing on the fluidity of boundaries and their continuous transformation through time and human intervention. Drawing from Deleuze’s rhizome and Jane Bennett’s vibrant matter, she investigates the interplay between control and chance, structure and dissolution.
Born in South Korea and based in London, she holds an MFA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Her work navigates the intersection of materiality and perception, capturing moments where stillness and movement coexist. Through layers of translucency, shifting forms, and spatial interventions, she questions what remains essential amidst change.
By embracing ambiguity, her practice creates immersive experiences that reveal the unseen dynamics shaping our environment. Her work has been exhibited in various spaces, inviting audiences to engage with the tensions and possibilities that emerge as boundaries blur and evolve.
